1

About the business

Company-wide basics. Locations come next.

2

Sites & locations

Each location has its own inbound number, hours, 911 address and greeting — all on one connected system, so calls and extensions cross between sites.

3

Holiday calendar

Checked before the open/closed hours — on a holiday the system plays the holiday greeting instead of ringing an empty office. Applies to all sites.

No holidays yet — click "Load Ontario stat holidays" to add the standard set for the year.
Two kinds of holidays: fixed dates (New Year's, Canada Day, Christmas, Boxing Day) recur every year and can be set once. Floating ones (Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Civic, Labour Day, Thanksgiving) move each year — so the calendar needs a quick yearly refresh. This tool computes the correct dates for whatever year you pick, and that annual refresh is a managed-service touchpoint worth billing for.
4

Extensions & people

Capture every extension once. Tag each to a site, then pick people into departments below with a click.

ExtPerson & optionsSite
Click "Build roster" to create a row per extension.
5

Departments & how they ring

A group is a set of people a call can ring. Set its scope (one site or company-wide), tick who's in it, and what happens if no one answers.

6

Shared voicemail & hold music

Per-person voicemail is in the roster. This is the main mailbox and on-hold audio.

7

Number porting

Numbers to bring over from the current provider. (New numbers & 911 addresses live on each site above.)

8

Features

Company-wide features to switch on. (Internet & POE readiness is captured per site above.)
